Hi. I'm Nelson.

Most people know I do something related to AI for work, but that's generally where it stops.

The simplest description I have is that I'm an AI expert generalist. Yes, I kind of made that up, but I think it also fits. Deep in a few things, curious about everything, and AI is what lets me move between them faster than I ever have before. On any given day, I might be researching how people adopt AI, helping a founder work through a product decision, or building an internal tool.

Before all this, I used data to drive game strategy in sports, then was fortunate to lead people analytics and tech teams at Wayfair, Sonos, and Figma.

I’m also completing my MBA at Columbia Business School, where my work focuses on strategy, entrepreneurship, product management, and AI transformation.

Today, I advise founders, work with People teams on analytics and AI, coach leaders, and build systems for small businesses. Some engagements have a defined(ish) scope. Others involve taking on ongoing leadership or working alongside a founder as their product develops.

I also partner with AI and tech companies on content, workshops, and helping customers build with their tools. Explore partnerships.
