Hi. I'm Nelson.

My career has centered around people, data, and technology. I consider myself an AI-native generalist, passionate about AI’s impact on the future of work.

Before AI ran my life, I led People Analytics and Talent Technology teams at Wayfair, Sonos, and Figma.

And before that, I started my career in sports doing Moneyball-like things, using data and technology to drive in-game strategy in baseball.

As a natural systems thinker, I’m interested in how people work together and how changing a tool or process affects everyone around them.

To me, AI is the greatest multiplier of human capability we’ve ever seen. I want to use it to expand what people can do, not replace them.

Today, I coach leaders as they build with AI in their own tools. For People & Talent teams, I consult on defined projects or take on ongoing leadership.

I also advise founders building products for the future of work, helping them think through decisions along the way.

So, yeah, I AI a lot.

I’m completing my MBA at Columbia Business School. Outside of work, I enjoy photography, dogs, and New York City.
